There are themes that he would appreciate, but Jesus would absolutely lambast its glorification of violence and thievery as well as its portrayal of women.

I would say that one of the only anime that Jesus might genuinely like is Rurouni Kenshin, but, y'know... Watsuki...

I'd say he would appreciate Fullmetal Alchemist, and how the protagonists refuse to kill or treat human lives like something to barter or sacrifice. And the way so many characters are driven by guilt and the need for redemption, and how evil is empty of meaning or purpose.

There was that time when Jesus went to temple, and found the place full of stalls selling and bartering everything. People yelling while they haggled, livestock everywhere. He flipped his shit and began beating up a merchant for "violating his father's house." I like to think Jesus would've punched Charlos too

Big difference between kicking capitalists out of the place of worship and glorifying violence.

That said, the Bible does have a whole part towards the end where Jesus comes back and kills everyone.

before time skip yes. after time skip, probably not because some episodes feel dragged on. i know they made changes to the pacing for One Piece, but i lost my interest in the anime. still read the manga though.
