Anyone else going to LA Comic Con???

WELL, WELL, WELL… LOOK WHO'S THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR NOW. 🙄😂
Some of you may remember that I already revealed the cover of my first book a few weeks ago…
WELL. My Dad had other plans.
After several phone calls, a few strongly worded opinions, and some relentless campaigning, I finally gave in and tried his suggestion.
And wouldn't you know it… the man was RIGHT. 😤
So, without further ado, I present the OFFICIAL (and Dad-approved) cover of The Memory Library!📚❤️
AND THE TIMING COULDN'T BE BETTER BECAUSE LA COMIC CON STARTS TOMORROW!!! 🎉
I'll be there all weekend with my very first hardcover book, prints, coloring books, and lots of other little goodies!
📍 LA Comic Con — Artist Alley, Booth S-V06
📖 The Memory Library — $35
If you're attending, PLEASE come say hello!! I'd absolutely love to meet you! 🥹❤️
Not coming to Comic Con? You can still reserve a copy through the link here: https://square.link/u/ymwKS0Mz?src=sheet
I'll be reaching out to everyone who has already reserved a book next week, once I've recovered from the Comic Con chaos. Thank you so much for your patience and support!
See you at Comic Con!!!
P.S. Dad has already added "Creative Director" to his résumé. Nobody hired him.

Well that just raises the question... what was the original cover art?
(This cover art is really nice, BTW).

God your dad was right. That must've been galling xD

They are both amazing, but I think your dad is right. His pick seems more thematically appropriate.

Good News! You can save that for an anniversary edition cover!

That’s a great idea actually!! I reused the art for my banner for Comic Con! (Also peep the two Goose’s in this photo…) hehe

Is it just me or is the title off-center?

It has wabi-sabi 😆

I think it’s actually the art itself is slightly offset to the left which makes the title look offset to the right. But i think the title is centered on the cover
