Whoa whoa whoa whoa. I asked for Halloween horrors. Not genuine nightmares!

Speaking of. Come on down to the r/comics Halloween event! Where the pants are wet, the horrors are real and you need to get out and vote! Happy Halloween everyone!

That little kid's red/blue "divided nation" costume reminds me of Gill from the Street Fighter series.

He reminds me of Brennan Lee Mulligan for some reason.

No ghoul, goblin, or monster is scarier than the undressed problems of the real world right now.

"That doesn't scare me! I'll die before any of that seriously manifests!"

Stop acting like politics doesn’t touch everything.

18. u/snake_on_the_case · 2026-10-31 12:45 UTC

In a sense it touches everything, but it doesn’t need to be the only thing we think about (in fact it’s good for society to have reprieves from it).

Also specific to this case: US elections don’t touch everything. I can’t even vote in them because I’m not american, but I still get to be spammed with these because I share a time zone with you.

Just because you're privileged enough to not be affected by it, doesn't mean it isn't happening.
