Man I was really hoping this was gonna be Miles entry. It's so good! Some genuine horror as the finisher to our Halloween event.

I appreciate the honesty of this comment 😅 I'll vote for RE 2 remake as my favorite

I was gonna say 4 over 2 is an interesting take but a lot of people started the franchise with 4 back in the day so nostalgia definitely plays a part.

I really enjoyed RE5 but I’m sure it’s for the wrong reasons. I don’t think they accomplished horror but, the entire outlandish ending sequence and a few of the voice lines were hilarious and are seared into my mind forever.
No one can take from me the sound of Wesker saying “Sheva!” or Sheva saying “I need a Herb!” with a hard H.

Same lol. Other standouts:
Seven minutes
ensuring complete global saturation
And the ending where he destroyed a huge ass boulder with his bare hands

Idk why the fuck 7 minutes sticks with me so hard to this day, but every time I set a timer for 7 minutes you bet your ass Wesker pops up in my head

Hearing British people hit the hard h in herb throws me every time.
14. u/Gaz_Quaid · 2026-10-31 13:20 UTC
Well it does have a H in it. A non silent H....
15. u/Excellent-Gur-8547 · 2026-10-31 13:45 UTC
It's a silent h.
16. u/Ulfgeirr88 · 2026-10-31 17:40 UTC
But why is it silent in herb?
17. u/Load_star_ · 2026-10-31 19:38 UTC
The plants stole that letter from the Silent Hill, which is no longer silent.
18. u/stormcharger · 2026-10-31 19:52 UTC
Isn't it just Americans that skip the h?
19. u/_whatever_wherever · 2026-10-31 12:11 UTC
I replayed it recently
It... has not aged well

Why rate 8 so low? I thought it was some of capcom's best work in YEARS
