My last husky was interesting in this regard. He would never howl at the vet. He was an old pro. But when my wife and I had a baby, he became that baby's anger translator. If only one of us was up and addressing the crying baby, he would immediately find the other one and howl as if he were crying himself. He was not satisfied unless both of us were addressing "his" child. I miss him so much. And I'm happy he lived long enough for my daughter to remember him.

This sent me into a fit of laughter over having to hunt down the other parent. That's so funny, I love weirdos like that. Like how my mother's rotty/GShep mix would do her silent barks to vent her frustration of tension when we'd tease her with her favourite food: Cheez-Itz. She'd do anything for those, so we'd give a bit of a tease before providing them to the goober

Canada relies heavily on tax credits, whereas the United States uses a broader system of above-the-line and itemized deductions.
So it's faster, but you pay more (but you also actually have a publicly funded single-payer healthcare system).
