Unbelievably smooth animation on this one, wow. How long did this take you?

Thanks! Had to dig for the original procreate file for that info cus yeah I do remember this one taking quite a bit getting the hand movements to look right.
Procreate “says” 8 hours in total but idk how accurate that might be or how much of it is me just staring at the screen or drawing the comic vs animating panel 3.

Its good shit, man! I also really admire your dedication to a gag that only sign language literate people will fully understand lol. I did not understand until the other commentor in the thread translated for us.

Procreate ... Strokes..... Why does this sound so dirty?
11. u/arealuser100notfake · 2026-11-06 19:46 UTC
It's a common misconception, but artists don't usually stroke to procreate, it's only for pleasure and relaxation

I only manage to draw 6 panels in 8 hours without any animation :D

Four thousand strokes in almost 8 hours, that's some serious edging

Can anyone translate what they're signing?
16. u/Sirwetzel · 2026-11-06 18:08 UTC
In sign it's saying "Get your shit together" It's done excellently well

As someone who is casually learning sign due to special needs kids, I was confused why the author went with "Milk. Wait. Poop. Together."
But I assume those were creative choices. I'll keep working on my ASL.

That's not far off. They are very similar signs. That's a very different punch line though, lol.

Get your shit together:
unsolicited bonus - I'm coda, not Deaf, but I feel like the more ASL/less English-verbatim way I'd put it:
